Always Right Driving School, LLC is owned by and operated by Jack and Kay Ruen, lifetime residents of Columbus Grove. Jack's occupation for 37 years was driving semi, and had only one chargeable accident in those 37 years. Now that we are both retired, Jack's role in the business is behind-the-wheel instruction and taking care of our fleet of cars while Kay will be running the business and driving instruction. Always Right Driving School, LLC is committed to training your child to be a defensive, safe, and educated driver. We hope to see your child attend Always Right Driving School, LLC. OUR INSTRUCTORS
Our son, Jack Ruen, Jr., or "JJ "as everyone calls him, joined us after retiring from the Air Force after 20 years and moving back home to hopefully take the business over at some point. JJ has two children and resides in Bluffton.
Brad "Bubba" Brubaker is retired from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. Bubba is also a member of the Columbus Grove School Board. He has been working for us since we opened in 2017. Bubba lives in Columbus Grove with his wife and family. He was most recently elected as one of our new county commissioners. With that new position, Bubba will be leaving us at the end of the year.
Jason Welty works in Findlay, Ohio. Jason enjoys working with our students and is very knowledgeable about the driving skills our students need. Jason resides in Columbus Grove.
Bill Heilman is a bus driver for Columbus Grove School. He has been driving bus for many years and his driving skill is just what we need for our students. Bill is a very good behind-the-wheel instructor. Bill resides in Vaughnsville with his wife and family.
Chad McCluer is also a member of our team. Chad is a bus driver for Columbus Grove Local Schools. His driving skills as a bus driver brings a good skill set for our students. Chad lives in Columbus Grove and is married to his wife Charity. They share three boys together, two of which are still at home.
Julie Brickner does most of the driver's tests for us. Julie lives in Ottoville and is semi-retired.
Chad Ricker is our newest employee. Chad is a teacher in Columbus Grove and is doing a great job with our students. Chad is busy with his sports commitments in the fall and winter so he will only be driving for us in the spring and summer.
